Babies and Probably Getting a Chinchilla

Despite all the bunnies, I plan on getting a chinchilla. Hopefully all the baby bunnies, except one I plan on keeping, will be gone by then.

Yuki had Babies!

Yuki had babies, and that makes her the 3rd lady in just the past month who had little ones. She is Sophia's sister. Rex is the father, so Yuki's litter are cousins and half-siblings of Sophia's litter. She had 7; and they are more diverse than Sophia's litter. I'll be taking pictures every Friday of her babies. Here they are newly born:

As for Vrada's babies, I haven't heard from the lady who is taking care of them. There has been no email or phone response. But hopefully no news is good news.

Sad Week

Last Wednesday I heard what sounded like one of the baby goats crying. I looked out, and saw the male baby looking really sick, and an hour later he passed away. So now I'm down to 3 goats.

Vrada had come down with an illness shortly after giving birth. Despite giving her Critical Care, she passed away on Sunday. Also, one of the babies died from an injury caused by either Vrada or Yuki stepping on it by accident. Rabbits have very sharp claws on their hind feet and can do a lot of damage. The remaining 3 babies are currently being fostered by Vrada's daughter Sophia. However, I'm not entirely certain she is caring for them. I am hoping someone from the local rabbit rescue may be able to take them.
